We thought we'd add all our favourite things we do when Joey is in town!
1. Bondi-Coogee Coastal Walk
Weekend mornings are perfect for a coastal walk from Coogee to Bondi (you’ll thank us once you see the views). Start with the walk and then enjoy breakfast at Blackwood for the complete Bondi experience.
2. Ferry rides around the harbour
We're fortunate in Sydney to have water-based public transport! Take advantage of the harbour by hopping on a taxi ferry from Circular Quay, just a few minutes' walk from the hotel to the wharf. You can catch a ferry at any time of day to places like Barangaroo, Rose Bay, or even Manly Beach if you're up for a day trip.
4. Soaking up the sun at the beach
Sydney's beaches are true gems, and we can't resist a good beach day. Here are our favourites:
- Freshwater beach (you can catch a ferry from CBD to Manly and it's a 10 min walk).
- Coogee beach
- Bronte beach
- Shelly beach
- Chinamans Beach
4. Hiking.
Sydney has alot of beautiful walks, by the coast or up in the mountains. We're always exploring new places, but our favorite trails that we keep returning to (besides the Bondi Coastal Walk) include:
-Royal National Park
-Blue Mountains (Empress Falls)
-Manly to Spit Bridge Coastal Walk
-Hermitage Foreshore Walk
4. Lebanese food
If you're craving a taste of Lebanon, head to Greenacre (Inner West). Start with manoush at La Piccolo, right in front of St. Charbel Church, or at Mount Lewis Pizzeria. For a classic shawarma, stop by Mr. Shawarma. And don't forget to finish your feast with some knafeh from Sea Sweet Patisserie. You can't go wrong!
